The wolf was very nonchalant about what happened to him, despite getting several explosions to the face, he just casually walks on whilst whistling. Even breaking the fourth wall by talking to the audience “I’ll tell you what man, that there is a pretty smart little dog in there man”.

I love how there's a scene foreshadowing Droopy eventually beating the dragon into next week, he effortlessly drags him out of his tail by the cave as if he were an old throw rug, despite his sword being ineffective. My theory is that in A Droopy Knight (much like the bull in Senor Droopy for most of the cartoon), Droopy didn't really want to hurt the dragon as he had nothing against him, it was just business. Then the dragon pushes his button, he walks up to the dragon and calmly says, "you know what? That makes me mad." and then he lets loose.
