Arielle Pierog. I grew up watching re-runs of Reginald Fox & Droopy back in the 80's. Terrific to see them again! "Ladies & gentlemen, fear not for my safety..." Total *reversal* on the hound "...I am afterall, smart as a fox, you know" There's just plain arrogant, & then there's dignified. He always had that dignified, everyday "Life is just boring as h***, that's all" expression, while wreaking havoc on those hunters & hounds. Still gets me :o) !

They held our attention...something to look forward to, every Saturday morning. They were all Black & White. It was eons later when COLOR TVs came out! Thanks to Mel Blanc and folks like him, that did the cartoon voices & sound effects! The big band orchestra's that did the background music for them. I loved ALL OF IT

I love how there's a scene foreshadowing Droopy eventually beating the dragon into next week, he effortlessly drags him out of his tail by the cave as if he were an old throw rug, despite his sword being ineffective. My theory is that in A Droopy Knight (much like the bull in Senor Droopy for most of the cartoon), Droopy didn't really want to hurt the dragon as he had nothing against him, it was just business. Then the dragon pushes his button, he walks up to the dragon and calmly says, "you know what? That makes me mad." and then he lets loose.
