Is becoming a police "officer" too difficult? Then become a corrections "officer" today and you too can watch grown men f**k eachother on a daily basis. Just have to work 60 hours a week and make LESS than a retail manager.

“Thankless Job.” But my brother and sister officers brought pride to the job on their Professional law enforcement response to 9/11rescue and recovery, the plane crash in Rockaway November 2001, And Department Mobilizing and responding to Katrina. Thank You, Brothers and Sisters ,🫡 NYC Correction Officer (Retired)

I've been watching various corrections training videos to try to get an idea of what training would be like for me in Pennsylvania. This video has won the first spot for the funniest! All jokes aside: I think it is the most realistic. It is amazing how much training varies from one jurisdiction to another. I can't find much info on PA State training, though.

Your not going to get anyone to take the Corrections job. You have to have control of the jail . If you don't have control of the jail the inmates can't receive good care and good custody Everyone must feel safe Officers Staff and inmates . Care Cusstody and Control .. Officers can't be afraid to check inmates when they are not following the rules of the department. And when they don't follow the rules they have to understand there are consequences afew hours of time out less yard time missing a visit does not work for cutting another inmate or assaulting a officer or staff..When you break the law you are taken off the street and put in jail . When you break the law in jail you get taken out of the jail population that's the way its been for over 100 years
