How do you deal with dogs that have a really bad shed for example huskies When they are blown out the hair flys everywhere. Do you have a special way of doing it ?

I hope we get to see this sweet girl again. She got lucky to find such a wonderful family who loves her, and they were both very lucky to have found such a wonderful groomer. I hope that she lives her best life and that she doesn’t have too many problems from her breeding early in life! Alaska Hugs!

New subscriber here! I love watching your videos! It really shows how much love and compassion you have for the animals you groom!! The only things I think need improved on is the pixelating of your camera. It got very blurry when you were doing her face. And the angle your camera was at, I couldn't see alot of what you were doing.

That dog breath and anal gland situation is why I would never be a dog groomer! You did an amazing job with Annie! I hope her mommy gets to the vet, especially the teeth done because of disease that could kill her. Again...great job! 😊

I notice most groomers start the groom by shaving the mats off. Is there a reason for that? It’s amazing what a difference it makes. The dog must be very relieved. Thank you so much. X

Idk if it’s possible, a talk about pricing would be very appreciated, even if just thrown into a regular grooming video. I watch everything. Thanks just finished school, w a little experience grooming family and friends dogs, ( a lot of doodles) and I have to figure out pricing.

@@agapepetgrooming one of my top favorite groomers recently posted a video, in it she grooms and talks about getting back a lot of negativity from a post she posted about hiring/pay/pricing, that businesses owners demanded she raised her prices. In the video she does explain her prices, they sound good to me, but what do I know? My impression about groomers and pricing is that most seem to really undercharge. even my own teacher undercharges, I never understood how she paid rent, math didn’t make sense. The video is on the dog grooming tips and tricks, by Susan Grande, title”this havanese was tranquilizer”, 40 min mark. Long story short, master groomer posted a looking to hire post for her salon. People responded she should charge more, 20 and 40 more, and pay her employees more.

He is a remarkably well behaved Welsh. We have had 2 Welsh Terriers and they were a little fussy. Didn't like their paws being touched and did not like the bathing. I suspect the owner spent time handling him a lot from a young age. Do you happen to know how they trained him to be relaxed and obedient with grooming?
