pls be a little more gentle with old cats... their joints are not the best, so it has to be really painful when you hold their leg so high. And give him some belly support, so it doesn't have to struggle with balancing, while u hold its leg. Old animals like old people... very fragile.

I was gentle. I let him go when he was uncomfortable I also have to do what I can to safely remove the mats. If he was in any pain he would have let me know. Cats do not tolerate people hurting them.
