Looks much more colorful and clearer than any of other footage seen. If this is real it's hard to believe it. I need to see some trees or something.....ahhh trickster....

I'm late to this party but I just rented the RC Pro and I'm having the same issue. I can't choose a resolution nor can I see live view. Rental company is overnighting another controller, they think its the board.

@@MirrorUpIdaho oh wow, the 1s exposure comes out really well there. I found it couldn't get enough light in on our feeble Scottish auroras. Will try again then. Thanks for sharing.

Much as I love Idaho, I’m far away from it most of the time. I don’t get local coverage and can’t see the smoke plumes so a little help with road names / numbers, place names etc in the description would be great. The occasional subtitle graphics are much appreciated and I’m pretty good at pausing & zooming in to read passing road signs. Google earth is great if you know what terms to search. Great video!

Drones & wildfire don't mix? What doesn't mix is forest mismanagement by politicians. Reporters, journalists are "knuckleheads?" Not the bozos that can't manage the natural landscape? Drones are tools. Cameras with wings. You know that. Don't fly them if its illegal or doesn't make sense. Your perspective is of a photographer. Your comments indicate a very NARROW perspective, indeed. I've lived through many wildfires over many decades. I live in a high fire risk area. I've watched the authorities' actions before, during, and after a fire. A drone ain't an issue. Bad & inaccurate reporting. Unwillingness to manage fire fuel. Unaccountability. Laziness. Grandstanding. THESE are the real problems. Drones are just cameras, and if those responsible for preventing, mitigating, and eliminating fires would do THEIR jobs, there would be way fewer drones in the air to fret about. Thanks for the video. Keep reporting. Tell the truth. Don't sideline your assets. And don't call everybody knuckleheads unless your talking about the the people directly responsible for the unimpeded wave of flame. 30, 40, 50 years ago there were no drones, and there were WAY fewer fires to report on. The tech isn't the problem.

This video is very well done, my friend. It certainly brings back my days as a cropduster in the 1960's when I flew a Stearman dusting cotton in Southern Missouri and Arkansas. The pilot in your video was blessed with a beautiful landing strip. My oh my, how ag flying has changed. I do miss the sound of a P&W R-985 radial engine strapped on the front of a Stearman. Thanks.

Do you have a recommended time frame that they are most likely to be visible on the Palouse? I've been told 2-3am but have seen people post photos and say it was only 10-11pm

That's really hard to say. But I have had the best luck between about 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. Pacific time when I have gone out in our region here.

Hello, I like your videos very much. As a KZbin expert, I analyzed that your KZbin video is not getting proper views and subscribers. The reason is that, video isn't SEO completed, no low competitive and ranked tag used & didn't optimize the channel with white-hate SEO. If these issues are resolved, then your KZbin video views will increase. Do you know KZbin algorithm which channel prefer and increase their video impression & search result first?
