Do you have a recommended time frame that they are most likely to be visible on the Palouse? I've been told 2-3am but have seen people post photos and say it was only 10-11pm

That's really hard to say. But I have had the best luck between about 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. Pacific time when I have gone out in our region here.
