Is the Cityline bus service good, I heard negative things. Are the buses on time according to schedule?

There are also lots of good things and compliments passengers made on Cityline services. I can’t and won’t deny that bad things do happen, and Cityline are not an exception. But I trust that they are committed to providing services to the best of their ability to all their customers. Have a go, and you decide henceforth if they are worth the money you paid for :)

The train services will be reinstated once the new terminal is built. The space where the car park exists at the moment will be transformed into the landside terminal, just adjacent to the current train station. Appeared on May 2 recently, AL stated as "Once the terminal is up and running, the track will be resumed but on a new model. So we are looking at how to revise that particular service based on a new model, probably a joint venture or collaboration with other parties,” he told reporters at a press conference today. @@jenniferkhoo4206

I dont understand why those busses from Singapore like to drop passengers at Times Square..such a hectic place to wait for bus etc... why not utilizing TBS like normal express busses in Malaysia? You guys contribute to traffic jammed in KL yo..see those Singapore busses park along the road in front of Times Square..such an eyesore
@jomnaikbas2 ай бұрын
All boils down to one simple logic - Demand. If there’s no demand from passengers, Berjaya Times Square would not be that popular. Non-Malaysian buses are not allowed into TBS, that is why none of them calls at TBS.

What is the use of so much HP when buses on highways are limited to 90km/h? The only advantage was when buses speed up from 0 to 90. right?
@jomnaikbas2 ай бұрын
I believe the operators have made careful considerations if operating buses with big power outputs makes economic sense or otherwise.
@Vee6watchman2 ай бұрын
23 years ago, a bus driver said that many bus operator liners want powerful engines but not necessarily for speeding. Something about not needing to keep it floored in low gear up the mountain passes.. Effortless passage, perhaps.?

30 minutes for customs clearance? sometimes foreigners need more time for customs clearance. Depends on the custom traffic also.
@jomnaikbas2 ай бұрын
The 30-minutes allowance is a standard among the operators, taking into account the time taken for an average traveller to clear the immigration. Of course, if a large number of passengers cannot return to the bus in 30 minutes, the bus would have to wait because obviously there is an issue clearing the majority of passengers. However, if most of the passengers managed to clear the immigration and return to the bus on time, then obviously there is an issue with the traveller being held up at the immigration. It is unfair for the bus to keep on waiting for that particular passenger when everyone else is already back in the bus.
@jomnaikbas2 ай бұрын
More often than not, it is the travellers’ fault for failing to ensure they have the necessary documents for the immigration clearance. I have personally come across many instances where travellers did not submit the arrival card required for the clearance, even after repeated calls from the bus driver to submit them as early as possible.
@Cubs33442 ай бұрын
@@jomnaikbas but I do see many are held up not because of their own clearance issue but the long queue in front. Foreigners (except Singaporeans) are still not able to use automatic clearance in Malaysian customs. There might be a long queue in front that cause the delay
@jomnaikbas2 ай бұрын
@Cubs3344 That is correct. And for that reason that you mentioned, the drivers are obliged to stay on and wait because it is the congestion that caused the delay, and not the travellers’ documentations.
