Did your bike come with the Hellbender headset already installed? Wired was having an issue with speed wobble with the extra weight of the rear battery. I heard they are now pre-installing these prior to shipping. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

The E-Cells Five Star has been proven to be a much better e-bike. They both are about the same price.
@thebikecaveКүн бұрын
Both very similar… What E-cells bike should I review first?
@jfly2249Күн бұрын
The e cells bikes have 1000 less watts, are not UL certified, don’t have a thru axle, and are much more expensive. The Wired bikes ride circles around the e cells bikes. E cells also gets an F rating from the BBB, look them up and stay away.

@@thebikecaveThe Wired Freedom has a shake with the shock in the middle. The cross sections in the rear are thin and long. There has been reported trouble with the swing arm linkage. They are reporting that the Wired Freedom seems flexible. The E-Cells Five Star is built solid and sturdy.

Compared to a 20inch moped style bike, the 26x4 full suspension Wired bikes provide a most comfortable and capable ride. You can go easily go over obstacles that would swallow a 20 inch tire. By far the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. Love the ability to ride on bike paths in complete stealth and rip it on the street.

Stumbled upon your channel while traveling in Europe. I subscribed. I had the previous March 2024 wired freedom and recently purchased the late 2024 wired cruiser. I am 6 foot five and I like the step through option. I’m not fat, but I’m just tall. The bike is pretty heavy and you really have to be careful when getting on and off. For you, the bike is a little big in all honesty. I will say that it is a power horse! I would love to see you do a review of the cruiser so reach out to Steve and see if he will send you one. You will absolutely love it, even more than the freedom. They both still look like Bikes and that is what I like. The speed is plenty and I rarely need it. I use it as a commuter when I am camping. What state are you in?

@@thebikecave Probably the cheapest brand that can handle the torque. Pinion is on the pricey side. Enviolo might be ok? With an electric bike, the issues with the squishy feel and loss of efficiency aren't as important. After all, the batteries and motors are doing most of the work on a high powered E-bike.

before anyone does a review i think it only fare to review the the bike laws and then fire people up about your bike California is just about finished its e bike law and other states will follow and it looks like any bike over 750 watts will be illegal and they will start to inforce so why mislead people they police hear are really cracking down on the 750 watt motor over that my friend got a pretty hefty fine it will come down like the 49cc gas scooter law over 49cc you have to register and get a m license we have been living with that law for decades and people obay that law no problem so the bikes with 1000 watt motors and above will be retired hate to see people waste their money and I am sure you feel the same way give them a chance and mention to check the laws in their state first
