I think it’s great to remove that old clear material used to preserve the front. Over time it’s looks like yours. But it’s not clearcoat because that still remains will that product just melts off that old plastic clear bra. But it’s great product because that is really hard to get off. Once you get it all off buff finish with compound and wax it paint and factory clearcoat should look like new

Hi Steve , I tried the same product ( stripper ) however I didn’t get as fortunate as you , I believe your tip to ONLY leave ( citrus stripper)on a short time was wise from my prior experience with this stripper. I believe I will have to go a different route ( sand some then respray the base colour then more clear coat . Blessing Sir Timmy Llanes

That isn't clear coat. All Holiday Ramblers, Monaco and Safari had 3M paint paint protection film applied to them. It's much better to use non marring scrapers or old credit or gift cards to remove the adhesive after you scrape off the film. The clean strip brand can affect your paint and clear coat under the film.
