Yeah ... How about not going forward with a story unless it can be corroborated? Seems many stories with unnamed and anonymous sources. Turn out to be 100% false. Some false stories were deliberately falsified to influence presidential elections. And PAID for by the opposition. And the retractions or corrections are whispered.

The public has zero cause to have any confidence in ANYTHING the traditional media say these days. Opportunity here for a new company doing independent fact checking of the media, politicians and celebrities.

Biya's Deception: Confusing Southern Cameroons with Boko HaramIn 2017, President Paul Biya of Cameroon declared war on Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) and attempted to equate their quest for self-determination with the actions of Boko Haram, a notorious terrorist group operating in Nigeria and neighboring regions. By conflating Ambazonians with Boko Haram, Biya sought to mislead the international community, leveraging Boko Haram's notoriety for terrorism to label both groups as threats to Cameroon. This strategy of deception appears to be unraveling. The legitimate political aspirations of Ambazonia, which call for recognition and resolution through dialogue, have been met instead with Biya’s “military option.” This approach has led to the deaths of thousands of innocent Ambazonians and perpetuated violence and instability in the region. Ambazonia maintains that it is not a part of La République du Cameroun. The continued military aggression, illegal occupation, and atrocities committed by Biya’s forces, including the BIR (Bataillon d'Intervention Rapide), have resulted in over 45,000 Ambazonians being killed, tortured, detained, or forcibly disappeared. The United Nations’ inaction in addressing these violations raises critical questions about the global response to the crisis in Southern Cameroons. A peaceful resolution requires urgent international attention, pressure on Biya to cease hostilities, and an open dialogue to address Ambazonia's political status.

She is from Niger a country in West Africa. Last year Ferdinand Ayité, a journalist from Togo, a country of West Africa was awarded. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZLddqhsrdirrLs Is there in West Africa example of countries where journalists can freely do their jobs? Certainly, there some countries. Now when a country where journalists are jailed, persecuted, etc. who must flee to exile and awarded like the case of Ferdinand Ayite is the chief negotiator for countries of Africa in the framework of their international cooperation. When someone like Carlos Lopes, from Guinea Bissau who 'was executive secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa from September 2012 to October 2016' and was appointed High Representative of the Commission of the African Union in 2018, affirms in a forum that 'Togo’s Regional Role: Promoting Collective Security in West Africa' is it right to ask the question of the weight of these awards. For instance, Ferdinand Ayite is awarded, and he is in exile, the regime that has jailed him in Togo prior to the award and exile is a 60-year-old dynastic tyranny and which despite such a negative peculiarity in West Africa is the chief negotiator for countries of Africa in the framework of their cooperation with the European Union OACPS-EU partnership international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu/policies/european-development-policy/oacps-eu-partnership_en And such regime has led the UN Security Council 'Togo assumes the presidency of the UNSC' www.republicoftogo.com/toutes-les-rubriques/in-english/togo-assumes-the-presidency-of-the-unsc And a few days ago, it is a representative of such regime who was among the issuers of hierarchies of values in the framework of 'Women Transforming the World | World Bank Annual Meetings 2024' Ajay Banga, President, The World Bank Group Anneliese Dodds, Minister of State for Development and Women and Equalities, United Kingdom Adebayo Olawale Edun, Minister of Finance, Nigeria Sandra Ablamba Johnson, Minister, General Secretary at the Presidency, Togo Moderator: Shakuntala Santhiran, International broadcast journalist What is the weight of these awards if you consider all these details? kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYKQqXaXoZmYfpI Can there a sort of coordination so that the awards and the other things in order to obtain a kind of convergence of the meanings that inculcates an ideal of a world? If the CPJ awards journalists and if the same time in the same world those who persecute journalists are among the issuers of hierarchies of values to the world what the award can change? Since press freedom is necessary for a tempered world, the organization such as CPJ should be consulted for advice when it comes to issues related to the common destiny. A coordination between organizations, institutions is necessary to the weight of these awards.

@@Aperki2010 All you need to do is see who employs them: usually left leaning billionaires. Look at the major news outlets that are owned by them. Journalists know what is expected to keep their job. Epoch Times is the only magazine that is not owned by them and it shows in the unbiased articles. Follow the money for the truth!!!

Is there any wonder why this is? The press is so biased against conservatives and the lies flow like water from them. They've mastered the crab talk (saying one thing but meaning something else) and they push socialism and even communism like it's a shiny new thing that didn't murder millions of people over the last century. It's about time they were held to a higher standard than you get from the likes of Don lemon and Chris Cuomo.

The media did this to themselves. Spreading false narratives and lies, intentionally trying to divide the country. Even in this video he claims black journalists are profiled. None sense, lay on your bed of nails

This is one-sided propaganda... ironic for a group advocating for journalists. The most violent and dangerous protestors today are hard-left "Free Palestine" activists. They get a free pass because it's cool to yell "dAnGEr tO deMocracY!" while ignoring that the DNC installed their presidential candidate without her getting a single vote from the voters. If protecting journalists is the goal, don't pick political sides.

Sadly, I think he's dead. It's heart wrenching. He was vanished in 2012 and they posted a video of his in 2013. They would've killed him by now as there's no reason to keep him. And even if there's slightest chance he is alive, he must be a whole new different person now. It's shameful how America didn't negotiate properly back then.
