CPJ's message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of his U.S. visit.

CPJ calls on Prime Minister Netanyahu to work with your government to:
Immediately grant independent access to news organizations seeking to access Gaza.
Release journalists arbitrarily held without charge.
Launch credible, transparent, and thorough investigations that meet international standards into the killings of journalists.
Revoke the law that allows the temporary banning of any foreign media outlet in Israel.
No credible democracy engages in what is, in effect, a growing censorship regime.
This must stop.
