What do you use to control the wash’s? Program wise.
@djtravismcguire10 күн бұрын
@@mikehorvatits7394 that night I was running them master/slave. Reason being, there was a HUGE quinceanera next door & they were using wireless DMX and it kept interfering with my wireless DMX, so I had to hard wire DMX them master/slave and just use the remote all night. I use AI Light Show now.

I know this video is 6 years old.... Currently they have mint condition open box ones on sale for $350 and brand new MLS 1000s for $500 on the sale. Do you think it's worth the extra $150 each to get the 1000s over the 900s
@djtravismcguire15 күн бұрын
@@JefferyAmador-o7x yeah, I think so. Recently, there was a DJ Conference in Boston called Harvest of Sound. They used a special acoustic fabric and they line up 30 speakers & column arrays and let the DJ's rate the sound on a scale of 1 to 10. The fabric hid the speakers, so it was a blind test. The Harbinger MLS-1000's were the surprise of the night, getting the highest score in it's category & something like 6th overall. They beat out two big brands. Good buy either way you go. The 900's are still good speakers, but it's worth the upgrade.

Hey buddy I kinda copied your build. Thanks for the info. If I could post a pic of mine I would. I used a light ring on top instead of the ipad in the wood but same sizes and led also found appliance glossy white spray paint over the 4 coats of high gloss helped. I did not have the stand so I glued and screwed to pieces of 3/4 ply wood together.

What is better option for satelites used with 18 icoa subs? 12a or 15a? Is there any advantge in 12a over 15a in terms of mids while using with subs? Or its almost the same? If I would use satalites only I would go for 15a but maybe with 18 subs 12a may sound fuller in all freq spectrum? Please help

That's what I use Itunes for. My "crates" are my Itunes playlists. If I have to move them, I just move the Itunes installation folder on the new computer, open Itunes and there you have them, all the same playlists in any order you want, in Virtual DJ, you see the Itunes playlists as folders with the same names as in Itunes, it's very easy to build crates from that, if you need to. I use Itues just to manage my dj music sorted by genre and style and other things. So my music folder to move around is relatively small.... I also use the same folders for Serato, again, the playlists appear as folders in Serato, with the same names as in Itunes, it's a back up to keep the parity of the Virtual DJ library and Serato´s, to use one or the other as appropriate.
