hey, if i use kick in and kick out on the same channel, can i eq them differently and if yes, how? thanks!

So think of the channel eq as a group eq now, I have found it to work pretty well. Obviously you will have more control with seperate eqs but so far so good for me honestly

If you combine two different mono sources as one channel using a user patch, are you able to adjust the DELAY seperately on each source or does the delay apply to the whole channel as one?

ok, ok, a video on how to connect an xr18, a dn4816-o and the dn4816-u to the wing compact would be great since I currently have the xr18 and the dn4816-u and the wing compact is on the way, plus I think buy the dn4816-o as soon as it is available, I think it would be an interesting video for many people, greetings.

Another question, why not use a Midas DN4816 as stage box instead of XR18? It’s got built in stage connect and ultranet, it’s cheaper, it’s lighter, preamp might be better (midas). For the price I could get 2 of these on stage to facilitate musicians plugins in directly into it and get 32 ins (xlr or jack) and different end of the stage. And save me from having to get a klark teknik box?
@dawnofadreamx9717 күн бұрын
You could but the dn4816 is line level only, so it could work with wireless mics set to line level or other line level devices....

@@dawnofadreamx97 sorry I don’t understand what that means? Couldn’t all the band plug into it? Guitar DI, Bass Di, keyboard, backing track, drum mics etc?

Hey that’s great stuff man thanks. Quick one regarding your last trick - using XR18 as stage box - is there a way to also use the XR18 as a splitter as this point in the chain? So I’m using WING as IEM rig for various reasons. Can XR18 split and send to the WING rack as well as to the FOH?
@dawnofadreamx9717 күн бұрын
So you could essentially come ultranet out of the xr18 or mr18. Point your mic pres to come out of ultranet and then go into a dn4816-o so analog split to foh .... works great!

Second tip don’t understand , tip 3 n/a but still don’t understand , tip 4 n/a but don’t understand. You’re just pushing buttons and and you don’t explain why, this is once again another video by all of you guys that have probably been running the wing since 2019 and assume everybody else knows everything . you guys have no clue how to do a video for somebody who has never seen a wing and just purchased one. Sorry we’re not all professional audio engineers which in this case why would they watch the video. Thank you for making a video that probably a lot of people do understand but you’re not doing this for the beginner

@ I read my comment and it does sound kind of harsh I apologize for that I just get tired of trying to improve myself on the wing faster then it takes doing it on my own which I got my compact about five weeks ago and I found out the best thing to do is just push buttons and try to figure it out. I just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly. I can run around the x 32 no problem but this thing was kicking my ass I’m starting to get it and almost feel I can take it out for a show but I would have my original x32 setup ready to go just in case lol. I just watch these videos hopefully gaining more knowledge and they just seem to be centered around people that already know how to work the wing and it’s just frustrating. I keep on hoping to watch a video that says hey I know you’re dummy , see if this helps you lol. You stating that you would try to do a dummy down video speaks very highly of you and I appreciate it but I don’t think your viewers would be interested but thank you once again

Not the best presenter or guitar player. The guitar sounds a little out of tune. Should have thrown the pickup selector switch to hear bridge & neck pickups. I own over three hundred pedals with MANY OD pedals. This one doesn't sound very good. I'm sure experimenting with different guitars and real tube amps would offer some improvements, but other wise, not impressed.

How is it? Can u tune it down to drop c or drop b without any fret buzz?? I’m actually considering it even tho there’s no SS frets If I can get it to drop c without ANY fret buzz when clean since some of my verses are clean. Most of my choruses are really heavy then I will just buy a digital drop pedal to get it down to drop A # which is what I usually like to fly in along with drop C
@definitelynotgore2 ай бұрын
I think you should probably consider learning a bit more about guitar before considering investing in something like this because this set of specs is for someone who really wants a specific sound/tuning. The Evertune bridge is also not beginner friendly in terms of restrings. To answer your questions, yes it does drop C all the way down to about drop G comfortably given the extended scale length. String gauges would need to compensate the lower you go. Fret buzz can happen on any guitar, good or bad, depending on setup/quality of fret leveling/etc. Lower action generally means you’ll get some fret buzz but you can get away with some just fine. Higher action means less likelihood of buzz, but also makes it harder to play. It’s why not so great guitars have bad action, if they set them up to a low action you’d hear all of the fret imperfections. TLDR; learn more about your instrument before investing this kind of cash

@@StraightRocketFuel This comment is filled with so much misinformation that I don't even know where to begin lol. You can easily tune this guitar to E standard if you want, the tension will be slightly higher but *nowhere* near extreme as you're making it seem and you most definitely can *NOT* snap the neck, that's just absolutely ridiculous.

Mark can just plain blow...with surprise! a shit-ton of swing. He has three solid gigs, each with a touring band, and I'd love to see him stand in with a jazz quartet and cut heads...because, improvisationally, he can. Love him, a great, great horn for all seasons (and a good singing voice as well).

I had an original ‘65 deluxe reverb that had an evM12L in it when I bought. It was so bright I pretty much ran the treble on 2 with a telecaster. And it added 15lbs to the weight of the amp. It was from the 70s or early 80s. I took it out and threw it away but I was sick when I realized how much those things sell for. lol.
