Mark can just plain blow...with surprise! a shit-ton of swing. He has three solid gigs, each with a touring band, and I'd love to see him stand in with a jazz quartet and cut heads...because, improvisationally, he can. Love him, a great, great horn for all seasons (and a good singing voice as well).

Good video. Mark was born May 24, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY. The same day, I was born in Brooklyn, NY. It was St. Peter's hospital, which I am told is not there anymore. I always wonder if Mark was born there that day with me.
