It has to be Mighty Morphin or it won't work. Nobody wants to see 2 hours of Mystic Force, or RPM garbage. Everything after Zeo is terrible already, with ugly costumes and boring villains. MMPR is the one that everybody knows. It's the one that became a cultural icon and phenomenon, because they were character driven. Everything since has just been about the powers and the power-ups and the toy sales, resulting in boring garbage that only a small fan base enjoys.

Disney is the last company that should own Power Rangers. Unlike the Disney Era, the New Disney Era would be a company trying to capitalize the best they can on Power Rangers, and as a result, ultimately suck the life out of it. Disney ruined Star Wars, it sucks the life out of Marvel, and even Disney originals don't have a good reputation thanks to the live action/photo realistic remakes. It's true that Disney doesn't care much about the IP. The problem is that they don't care about the fans either. All they care about is money. Power Rangers won't benefit from being owned by Disney again. If any company should own Power Rangers, I think it should be Paramount. Paramount actually would care about the IP. And Paramount can own the IP without it being affiliated with Saban.

That's a big fat NO from me. Out of ALL the seasons from the Disney Era there was only two that were good. Saban buying it back was a good idea but putting it on Nickelodeon was a bad idea from the start and I could see what was going to happen there. But then Hasbro bought it and what happened? It went woke with same sex crap and now it's dead. Big freaking surprise.

What a nonsensical idea this is. 1. Disney NEVER wanted Power Rangers to begin it, why would they want it NOW? 2. Disney wasn't making enough money and revenue from the male demographic with Power Rangers, that's why they bought Marvel and Star Wars to begin with as they are a bigger draw to the male demographic than Power Rangers, so AGAIN, they don't need Power Rangers. 3. Disney+ is a failed venture as they are losing millions of viewers and ratings. X-Men 97 was (unfortunately) a ratings disaster and what proof do you have that it'll be any different if Power Rangers was on the app? 4. Who said they can ONLY do an unnecessary Time Force reunion or an unnecessary animated series ONLY through Disney, as opposed to Hasbro if they get their shit together or through Paramount as their are rumors going around that Paramount wants Power Rangers. Just because you like the Disney era better than the Neo-Saban doesn't make this a "good idea" in fact, this is a stupid idea. And you didn't bother to factor in the common sense mentality that if any of this mess was a good idea, then Disney NEVER would have sold Power Rangers to Saban Brands or bought Marvel to begin with.

If I owned the Power Rangers franchise, I would de-canonize the seasons from 2002 to present, sell the property to Toei and the toy rights BACK to Bandai for virtually NOTHING with the provision that some wider worldwide distribution of the Showa-era Super Sentai shows by implemented with 100% ACCURATE English translations, etc.

I like the idea of a Next Gen MMPR series. I too have been writing ideas as to how it could be played out. Now I'm open to the plus sized & disabled idea. Keep in mind the higher ups would want that stuff to be in civilian form only. Which is a fair compromise. Beyond that I think Simon may be asking for too much on his vision. That said if I was the show runner a good chunk of his plans would be implemented. As well as exploring PR lore, its formula & how things could be played out.

I keep saying this and will continue to say it until I get the attention of at least one higher up and here is absolutely no exception despite not actually getting what I want, in Dino fury, if they were going for Ollie being a former homeschooler, they should’ve depicted that more directly and I wanted that, Ollie should’ve been fake evil Ollie from episode two - episode nine because it upset me a former homeschooler that felt a demonized by seeing Ollie be antidote resistant evil, if this could please be remedied, not only would I no longer be upset, but for once, us homeschoolers would no longer be proof that the saying “representation matters” is complete bullshit and if I’m the only home screen in both the Power Rangers fandom and the homeschool community to feel this way… that would upset me even more.

While I do agree that Omega was handled poorly (the director and writers even now still talk about how they wish they had pushed harder to have Sam have a civilian form) I hard disagree with making Boom the Omega Ranger. I think it takes away from what makes Boom so good and heart pulling because he couldn’t make it as a ranger and probably couldn’t even In the future but it doesn’t matter because what he does matters so much to how things run in SPD. I don’t have any type of alternative but I’d rather it not be boom

I agree that Z was severely underused that man could have been of the best yellow rangers we had. I didnt like how Z had the best civilian fights early on but mostly keep losing after the Sam 2 parter. She and Jack should have talked more and had a backstory episode like you said. Female rangers rarely argue with each other, so Syd and Z could have had the same attention as Jack and Sky. Z could have Omegas personal mentor like a big sister figure. Also, Morgana should have been Zs rival and be defeated like Cruger did Grumm.

I’m with Hunter ngl. The fact that Nickelodeon didn’t invite her to the KCA is a real dick move. It’s been Hunter Deno’s dream to go to the Kids Choice Awards and her getting nominated for one, meant that she was so close to making her dream come true only for it to be taken from her. She was so passionate for being the first full time female Red Ranger and her work won’t even be recognized with her being there despite getting nominated for Favorite Female Kids TV Star. Honestly, I would be pissed off too. if I were to get nominated for Best Original Screenplay or something and the awards show didn’t even invite me to the ceremony, i would’ve done the same thing. Plus we’ve always had the Power Rangers season and/or one of the male rangers get nominated for a KCA, but this is our first year where one of the female rangers get nominated for a KCA as well. Dino/Cosmic Fury is “The Season of Firsts” after all. Sorry for the big rant but there’s so much that I wanted to say about this.
