I agree that Z was severely underused that man could have been of the best yellow rangers we had. I didnt like how Z had the best civilian fights early on but mostly keep losing after the Sam 2 parter. She and Jack should have talked more and had a backstory episode like you said. Female rangers rarely argue with each other, so Syd and Z could have had the same attention as Jack and Sky. Z could have Omegas personal mentor like a big sister figure. Also, Morgana should have been Zs rival and be defeated like Cruger did Grumm.

Her losing fights as we get deeper into the season is actually a good thing. It shows just how strong, and powerful the Trobians really are. Z & Jack did have a decent relationship regarding their background, but it only came up when the plot needed it. She did fight with Syd, but similar to her relationship with Jack it only came up when the plot or episode needed it. Her being a Mentor to Sam could have worked, but him being stuck in his suit didn’t really make it possible. She did have a bit of a rivalry with Morgana, but it too fell to the wayside. Maybe I’ll do a video on how they could have improved Z.

While I do agree that Omega was handled poorly (the director and writers even now still talk about how they wish they had pushed harder to have Sam have a civilian form) I hard disagree with making Boom the Omega Ranger. I think it takes away from what makes Boom so good and heart pulling because he couldn’t make it as a ranger and probably couldn’t even In the future but it doesn’t matter because what he does matters so much to how things run in SPD. I don’t have any type of alternative but I’d rather it not be boom

I agree with it not being boom but a civilian form being needed. What would’ve been a cool plot to play with would be Sam (the child) maybe traveling to the future somehow and coming back stuck in an adult body. It’d be tricky but they were doing a similar thing with Morgana so not outta the realm of possibility. Or even have Sam conjure the ranger from his imagination? Idk but they could’ve done more with the omega ranger
