I can't tell if this guy came to save Manchester United or to blow it up. He's running the business like an idiot, throwing money at useless places and firing the poor employees one after another. If this continues, the atmosphere of the club will be like a funeral. This is why the team's ranking has become a relegation team since Ratcliffe came. The thugs who bought only a minority stake and only wear the owner's business card should disappear immediately.

I belive met jim in the early 2000's he spoke for 3 minutes about how he wanted the staff only part of a shop in Edinburgh to look like i was putting a spiral staircase in a ladys clothing store called whistles. I laughed out loud in bermuda when older English fella told me ben could win that cup. I told him they would never win this cup or the next one, perhaps the one after that I said. Well at the start of this cup I laughed again and said ben was the kiwis secret weapon taking out the other boats and getting in the way. Well I may turn out to be very wrong indeed. The boat looks the part and if they can learn to sail it I think even ben won't be able to slow it down. Haha troll joke. Good luck and well done team. This is why the Americas cup is where it's at. We will spend the next month copying ineos systems, and the lighter weather will make it harder to sail your boat but it's Definitely game on. The American are done, that's a shame, I thought they had it for a bit. The Italian could mess it up for everyone still, lol

According to the analysts, Britannia has been designed for speed at the expense of making her harder to sail. A bit like fighter jets are designed to be unstable so they are more nimble. This might account for the rapid improvement as the crew finally get the hang of a tricky boat. That desperate gybe to miss the collision with Alinghi in the recent prestart was pretty remarkable. Alinghi fell of the foils, while Britannia sailed pulled of a miracle turn. All very hopeful, after a terrible start in the prelims. Long way to go, but at least we're in the mix and will have some fun in the LVC final.

These boats are like dragon flies twitching this way and that across a course to a point of visual confusion as to who is actually leading. The old AC yachts possessed an incomparable elegance. This lot is more like formula one cars on water and just as boring with technology at the forefront, not the sport.

The old boats were about the relevant technology of the time, and that technology is now well and truly dead. The new sailing is fast and potentially dangerous, offers more potential for passing, and is over quicker. What's not to like.
