Just traded in my Franchi momentum elite varmint rifle in 224 Valkyrie for this in 6.5 Creedmoor. What muzzle brake did you end up using? I run a MDT comp and a VG6 on my Seekins precisions AR in 224 Valkyrie and 223 wylde. Would be nice if there was something that matched this coating.

I’ve used several Monstrum scopes out to 1000 yards. Glass is OK, adjustments are mushy, tracking is about OK. I can tell you that their customer service is nonexistent. If anything goes haywire after the warranty, just toss the scope, they won’t respond.

25-45 Sharp's is the ballistic twin to the 6.5 Grendel up to 120 grain bullets and it uses 5.56 bolt face and brass. Check it out.

I got one in 6.5.. got on paper with some 140grain Aguila. The first 3 shot group at 100 off a rest was 0.87 with 140grain of Remmy CL It could weigh 25 lbs, its only a 200 walk to the stand from where i park lol. Great channel. Respect from the Big Country of Texas!

You shouldn't be killing animals just for fun. Scared them off or invest in your property like a fence. There should be a law that put people in jail for killing animals. This is the reason why a lot of animals are going extinct. I'm sure you wouldn't like it if someone was killing you just for fun or for committing a mistake.

prefer the look of rifle with two piece bases, I think Savage got it RIGHT. I do not think they should change their offering on bases or increase price for a rail.

I am a fan of larger diameter base screws and applaud this IMPROVEMENT. I have not had problems with two piece bases and consider it a win they are included. There are plenty of scopes that will fit... your ding is a non issue for me.

I will NEVER buy a gun where the safety does not lock the bolt. I refuse to look down at my action to find it hanging open, the round fallen out, and it full of trash. The real, serious, hunting rifles have this feature i.e. CZ/Sako/Mauser98/Win70/Ruger77

I own a Grendel but I have switched to 6mm ARC it does everything the Grendel does just better. Still my old stand buy is my AR 10 in 308 Love that gun more than any of my others.

The Grendel is a more efficient cartridge and has much better barrel life than the 6mm ARC. Something to consider in a semi-auto which lends itself to higher volume shooting.
