Took me a year to rework 6 canebrake chairs that my gpa built in the 60's. They are a fine piece of my own work and every time I use them... it makes them even more special. Keep going! There are no time limits on labors of love.

My goodness 😭 Would it not have been simpler/faster to just.. build one from scratch? 😅 I mean, welding ain't always easy, but I can't imagine it being more time consuming than removing all that rattan 😭
