Thank you for sharing this video. I wanted to say thank you because, like your's, my kitchen needs upgrading (and like you I can't have a brand new kitchen so painting is the way to go). However, I have never had the confidence to try (because it's a costly mistake to get wrong). I am now though feeling so much more confident - am going to use this video as a 'how to guide' - and not so scared because I feel like you, and your guidance, will be with me. Idea for getting back into property ownership: buy a completely broken down place at steal of a price and fix it up. Would provide great content for a few years and you build equity. Great videos -- your landlord so lucky to have rented to you!

I wish I could borrow your sample door 😂 they sound exactly like the sorts of colours I've been debating for my cabinets (currently a yellowish white, with black granite worktops & satin silver hardware & appliances) what I had found had a definite purple tone but I'm wanting more of a grey tone. I had considered wrapping them but they are shaker style & wider than the roll width so would have used a LOT & That oil looks like just the thing I need for my bathroom cabinet do over

Great makeover, can I ask, why you used the strip seal, instead of just silicone, just curious, is there some advantage, I don’t know about?

I only used it as it’s wider and it would help cover that damage behind the sink and the filler i had used. Looks neater this way. Although for people who aren’t confident using normal sealant it is very quick and easy to use 🥰

Hiya, it’s a cleaning product here in the UK. Cleans off grime and grease. Doesn’t actually have sugar in it so no idea why the name. Any kind of cleaning degreaser would clean units ok x
