Big improvement and help to the family. I love your ramblings 😅. I admit that I am terrible for dusting my bedroom and the bathroom. I hoover and always keep the bath, sink and toilet clean and the floor, but as you said it takes about 15 minutes to wipe down the bathroom shelves slightly longer in the bedroom. So why don't I do it?? 🤷😅 And it's nothing to do with my mobility because I've always been the same! There you are, I've named and shamed myself 😂😂

I love your videos! You both are so genuine and wonderful. Try using a fabric lint brush on your dream catchers. I never heard of anyone being as afraid of heights as I am! I can't even climb the first rung of a ladder because I'm terrified of falling.

For cleaning your dreamcatchers....try the brush attachment on your hoover. The brush dislodges the dust and get sucked up, but the suction is less, so shouldn't taken the item.

Hey for the sound thing, you might want to look into misophonia. I know the most common example is eating noises but it can be other things too! :)

Great video girls! Love the chat, it feels like you're getting into a nice wee rhythm with your channel. I have a salt lamp and do you know they often don't work when you first buy them because when they aren't turned on they get damp and that damages the bulb. So all you need to do is replace the bulb! They're not expensive at all. I leave my lamp on on all the time otherwise it seems to attract moisture. I've never cleaned it but after reading others' comments I'll start cleaning it with a brush 😊

One thing a few of the free cleaning channels I watch have done for weeks when they didn't have someone else's house to work on is to clean an area of their own home - something that's gotten out of control or needs a deep clean, something that needs to be rearranged or decluttered, etc. I've enjoyed those videos as much as the ones of someone else's home. When you're doing anything on your own homes that will have that transformation, film it for us and you can use that on an off week!

Oh I meant to say I have an ostrich feather duster and I use that to dust delicate items. So a feather duster might be what you need for your dream catcher collection. The other thought I had was using a hair dryer on cold and slow.

To clean fake flowers and material items like your dream catchers. Put un cooked rice in a pillow case with the items. Twist the pillowcase shut and give it a good shake util it's dust free x works like a charm. Throw out rice and dust then put pillowcase in washing

Continue to call the countertops/work surfaces/bunkers...the words you naturally use. Part of sharing your voice with us is that we get to learn new perspectives and new phrases and a whole new spin on the shared language that might not be familiar to us. As an American, I was sort of offended when I found out they'd changed some words and even the titles of some Harry Potter books because the publisher assumed American readers wouldn't be able to figure out from context what words like "trainers" (as opposed to "sneakers") mean. People in the UK watch our shows and read our books and never have difficulty figuring out our vocabulary differences. Similarly, we can learn, understand, and appreciate yours. I love that I have learned "bunker" is another word for "countertop" from the two of you. Anyone so incurious or so indelicate (rude) as to chastise you for using your own vernacular and perspective on YOUR channel about work YOU are doing...can sod off. Edited to add: Compressed air in a can makes an excellent duster for intricate things that are also delicate. Take them down, taken them outside, and use a can of compressed air to knock the dust out. Vacuums could accomplish the job in the opposite direction, of course, but you run the risk of damaging them, depending on how delicate the materials are.

When I retired three years ago I decided I would shop at home first. So anytime I wanted something I checked out the cupboards to see what I could use. The only thing I have bought is new bread plates because the finish had worn off. After your last video I went around the house and cleaned all the light switches and door jambs. Made a big difference. ❤

There's something you'll want to consider when talking to each other like that, and it happens a lot in duo conversations: One of you will start making a point, and as soon as the other person understands, they will finish the other's sentence with a, "Yeah, yeah," which lets the other know that you understand what she's talking about. However, that forces the original person to cut her point short because there's no need to continue explaining if the other person gets the point. However, your audience gets cut off when that happens. We hear the setup to the point, but not the wrap-up. It's hard to train yourself out of that conversation style, but forcing yourself to finish those points (even when your partner gets what you're saying) will dramatically enhance your narrations and conversations.

You did a fantastic job, and I really like the chat between you both. Some way of identifying device cables would be definitely be really handy. As you were wondering, there's evidence that there is a genetic component to hoarding disorder, it can be a predisposition that other factors can set off and it's also not necessarily dependent on whether there was hoarding in the home (family members can also develop hoarding disorder later in life, so it's not always the case that the children who later go on to develop hoarding disorder grew up in a hoarding or even disorganised situation). Extreme attachments to things and hoarding tendencies can also start in early childhood, also not necessarily dependent on being in a hoarded home. Excessive or compulsive buying or acquiring can be part of hoarding disorder (as a specifier), but hoarding disorder can also just be passive acquisition (things coming into the home at a normal level) and the difficulty discarding due to a perceived need to save items (and to a level that significantly impairs function and causes distress). It's a complex issue containing a lot of factors, very often occuring alongside other disorders, and hoarding tendencies can be part of some other issues as well.

I was raised by a hoarder, so it was never modeled for me how to properly clean a home. Growing up, I always knew our house was not like everyone else’s but I was powerless to do anything about it at the time. I am in my 50s now and have some hoarding tendencies coupled with ADHD. I often have great plans and ideas in my head of all kinds of neat and creative things I could do in my house to decorate or fun crafts I might enjoy, but because my house is already cluttered and overwhelming, all the things purchased with grand master plans usually never come to fruition, just adding to the clutter. I also sometimes forget what I already own (cleaning supplies, office supplies, etc) so I often have multiples. Sometimes I stock up when there’s a good sale on something we use regularly so I might have multiples because of that. I do clean when I notice something is dirty but in my head, I’m always like, didn’t I *just* clean that not long ago?? Of course it’s always longer ago than I remember lol, but doing it weekly just seems so overwhelming. Intellectually I know it would be easier in the long run to have a weekly routine but I think the ADHD makes it hard to stick to routines, even though I thrive when I have an established routine that I follow. As an American, I love hearing y’all chat in the voiceover and I adore your accents! Don’t change a thing! I like both long and short videos so I’ll watch regardless lol. I don’t know if your channel was recommended before or after Mack did the shoutout but that’s how I ended up here. 😊

Please don't even think about trying to change anything about the way you speak, your terminology nor your accents for the sake of American viewers. I believe most Americans delight in the charming lovely accents you have, and love hearing the different terms for items and what not. ♥

Amazing job again! This poor man must be so grateful for the help. Hoarding is a mental health issue. As with just about everything in life, judgement and blaming are useless. As for your dream catchers, ,maybe try putting your hairdryer on cool air in the lowest setting and seeing if that gets rid of the dust. open the window first because all the dust will go everywhere. Im not sure if that is very helpful, seeing as you have asthma. Maybe see if your husband will try it for you,❤
