Hey girls, fellow Scot here, and pretty close to you. Get yourself some Tesco's own-brand kitchen spray. I have found it to be one of the best grease-dissolving yet cheap cleaners. It foams when you spray, and if you let it sit a few minutes, it removes a lot of stubborn grease and grime. I bought it to clean something outside that I was not too bothered about. I picked the cheap option. I was so surprised by it that I now buy it as my main kitchen cleaner, and they do refills too. Also, get yourself the pink stuff paste. Anything on white that is not budging seems to be able to get the most out. If you ever need any help with a bigger job, gimme a yell. I have helped clean mental health houses my whole life because of my autistic family (I am ASD too, and much like Mack, my special hobby is turning chaos into calm and cleaning the worst), and my brother owns a cleaning company. I worked for him through my teens and have battled some of the worst hoarding or neglect homes I have ever seen. You, ladies, are doing amazing; keep up the good work.

I am so thrilled for you two! I will keep my comment brief here since I know you already have a million comments to read and that is so overwhelming, especially when you were not expecting it. 😊 I think my favorite thing about you so far is that you are just open and honest about everything you are doing and it's admirable that you are willing to just jump in and help even though this isn't something that comes naturally to you. I'm also glad to have more friends in this space who understand how mentally draining it can be on top of the physical exhaustion. I think I'm always more mentally drained at the end of these cleanings than I am physically. It does take time to recover. Anyway, it looks awesome! My video will be going up in just a couple of hours and will give you another Shout out.❤❤❤

Howdy! I'm here from Midwest Magic Cleaning. Mack told us about y'all. I'd like to see longer shots or a longer pause of the entire room/area prior to y'all starting cleaning. Same at the end - longer pause to take in what it looked like before and what it looks like afterward. I also would like to see "wider" shots of y'all cleaning. I know sometimes it's hard - like when the bathroom is small - but it gives a better sense of how much y'all are doing and tackling. I'd mentioned on your other video that I like voice overs! I like your tone and cadence. It is calming. I also appreciate your emphasis on "progress not perfection" because it gives folks who may struggle with cleaning/keeping house an attainable example of what their home could look like. Progress is important, not perfection! Sending y'all love and good will from Texas!

The kitchen looked so bright and sunny when you were done! Well done, ladies! Can you put together an Amazon wish list of cleaning supplies? I'm thinking your subscribers will be willing to help you out on that a bit. If you have dollar stores in your area, I've found that many of the dollar store cleaning supplies do as good a job as the pricier stuff, including their brooms, buckets and mops. I've done a few clean-outs myself, so I know it's very hard work. I'm also not a spider lover, but have found that the gloves give me the courage to go in places and do jobs that I would've never thought I could. Please don't allow the critics to erode your confidence on these jobs. You are doing a wonderful thing by cleaning for free for those that need the help, and the microscopic scrutiny of your methods is unjust in my opinion. Is it better to have a dirty dish, or a clean dish that has gone un-rinsed? How many angels can dance on the head of a pin, and all that...

I also found your channel through Midwest Magic Cleaning. As you are just starting out, I am sure things will get easier for you as you gain more experience and hopefully in the future, you will get income from KZbin which will help you buy supplies. The narrator said she was never trained to clean and it doesn't come naturally to her. I have a suggestion about rinsing off dishes. Once a large group of dishes have been washed and placed on the drain board, stop and rinse those dishes in very hot water and put them in a plastic/rubber draining rack to drain. Or stack them on a towel on a flat surface. If you use very hot water to rinse, the dishes will drain dry almost completely and you won't have to wipe them with a dish towel. It saves time and the dishes are more sanitary if they are rinsed in hot water and allowed to drain dry. Just a suggestion. I am enjoying your channel.

Excellent, another pair of powerful women offering free cleaning 👏👏. I’m here at the recommendation of Mack from MMC, watching from Ireland. You two are doing great, don’t ever feel the need to apologise for what you do or how you do it. The fact that you are giving your time and energy to those who need it for free is more than enough. For me I really enjoy hearing the stories behind these cleanings and while you have to respect the residents’ privacy of course it does help us to understand and be more empathetic towards people who are struggling. I think that’s one of the reasons why Mack’s channel is so successful- he tells a good story and his videos are very instructive with some humour for good measure! But you find your own rhythm, as I said you’re doing great. ❤😘

Another thing. I’m American, but I know that in England and some other countries it is a long-established tradition to not rinse cleaned dishes in clean water. This is a tradition that goes back for generations. My research found that English kitchens were furnished with only 1 sink. So, in this sink went soap and water. Dishes were added, washed, then maybe dipped into the soapy water to remove any obvious soap suds. Then the dish was put in a draining rack or on a cloth to drain. This system has worked for them! If people were frequently getting stomach and other digestive system problems, which we Americans might expect, the process would have been changed. But, very few people have problems resulting from not rinsing dishes. Maybe people’s bodies easily adjust to accommodating the tiny bit of soap residue that remains on dishes after they drain or are hand dried with a cloth. Maybe if you have a compromised immune system, you create a process for rinsing your dishes. I’m just saying that we Americans might not have The Answer for everyone in the world. Cultures see and do things differently. Open-mindedness and appreciation of differences is generally a very good thing.

I am one of Mack’s followers from MWMC. Great job. Am liking your videos and prefer you talking and explaining what you are doing. I like your voice. Once you get more experience and comfortable, I think it will get better. Mack does a great voice over on his videos. Just be yourself and maybe not talk so slowly. Thank you for your videos!
