Is it me ? But just my opinion . I have seen like 20 videos of resellers online ordering from goodwill auctions and eBay, and most of them get nothing but $3 to $10 pieces for resellers to resell . I truly think they go through their stash and just sell in lots what is worth $1-$10 . Just my opinion upon seeing 20 different videos . Shipping , I can just imagine, can be costly . I hope you made your investment back .
@kristinedoty78768 күн бұрын
@@fabianrobot Well, my opinion is that they take the broken stuff and the rest not worth selling individually for them. They buy bulk stuff from Temu or Shein to bulk up, maybe buyouts from businesses going under, remainders, outdated stuff donated for tax write off, estate remnants etc. Then, I think they sprinkle in a few genuine pieces, broken or reparable pieces of genuine precious metals and/or semi-precious stones. Or tiny pieces of good stuff that would cost more money to polish up and list to sell. So, every so often SOMEONE finds a treasure. Essentially it's gambling, a lottery, buy a box and you have a CHANCE to find something good, plus the treasure hunt! I speculate that they make more money, not to mention get rid of the cheap stuff not worth marketing, from the box sales than they would from selling the few genuine pieces they sacrifice to salt the boxes. I have noticed that many unboxers tend to receive similar items at around the same time. Especially, the new, unworn stuff that I think comes from China in bulk. Still, it's a great way to hone your eye.

Used to be that 5-6 years ago you could score outstanding deals on ShopGW. Easily could buy 15lbs of jewelry for 15-25. Then all the resellers started posting on KZbin about their 'great deals' so of course everyone and their dog now knows which means the prices have skyrocketed. More competition in the bidding. So, thanks.

Hi Jennifer. Those opal earrings look like real opals. My foster father was an opal miner in Lightning Ridge, so I've seen heaps, and if those are faux, there the most amazing faux opal I've ever seen! Also, the SUN earrings may have a heavy rhodium plating over the sterling. And I reckon that they're most likely lab grown diamonds. These were all lovely pieces. I was devastated to see the pin missing from the marcasite duck brooch, but it could easily be replaced. 💖🇭🇲
@jenme4015 күн бұрын
Ok. I don't know much about Opals and have no idea if the will test as anything on a presidium, but they are beautiful. I have scratch tested those SUN earrings multiple times and still can't get a positive sterling test, so I'm at a loss of what to do. And yes, some of the lisitngs I saw said lab grown. I've never tried to replace a pin on a brooch, but there's always time to learn and try!! Thank you for your help and for watching and commenting.

Half the sellers whose channels I watch are complaining of allergies. Just take loratidine (generic Claritin) prophylacticly, every day. It works better as a preventative. Check with your doctor.
