I don't know much about midi... does it come with a footswitch to change from clean to dirty.. and are the reverb and delay digital?

I almost bought a blue Steve Morse Guitar Signature but decided against it because Steve's play is so unique. I think maybe the guitar character just suits Steve because who am I? 😅

Thats an awesome amp, great features and sounds. What are the smallest speakers/cab that be run with it (just thinking of portability for us grey beards). Also, forgive my ignorance, but Steve's guitar, the Humbuckers and Single Coils close together, how does that affect the sound we are hearing (Im listening through Bose QC35ii's)? Nice work guys👍✌️💜😊

Just got one over the weekend and really enjoying the versatility. My combo doesn’t have a cab extension. Instead mine has a cab sim and dry outputs. Loud AF!

I wish we had it in the 80’s. It sucked. There was no info, only unmodded Marshall in the store and it was so loud, it was ripping off your head. I had to push my first amp, a backstage plus, with a SD1. I thought I discovered something cause the only reason I got it it’s because a seller asked me what I was after, I answered Jimi Page sound cause he caught me off guard. I was way more into Hendrix, hence the use of my OD in a Peavey pushed into a ton of saturation. I didn’t know shit and the dude I spoke to at mtl Steve’s music was an arrogant, impatient and condescending prick. + the books we use to buy were full of mistakes, showing the worst way to play songs. No internet, completely left to yourself. Hat off to John Suhr for starting with a RadioShack basic electronic book and doing ones of the best mods in the world on amps, pedals and guitars that he brought to an out of our atmosphere level. Huge fan of him.

Is it just me or does this sound nothing like an ENGL amp? Not to be mean. It sounds nice. But it's more like a Marshall amp for some reasons.

Steve get a harmless injection of the drug called Kenalog in the arthritic joint and it will be gone and i mean gone. I've seen it on two different types of arthritic joints. Both immediate results. The wrist one was so fast we tried to take a picture for a before and after but the lump dropped before i could grab my phone. The other case my fathers fingers were curled twisted and painful they are now almost straight and no pain. neither case returned, no other injections. that was 5 years ago.

Boring player. Glad he's finally out of Deep Purple, he never belonged there. His playing was an insult to Blackmore's legacy.
@brianmccarthy85952 ай бұрын
Morse was probably bored as hell playing in Deep Purple. The scope of his musical ability and knowledge far exceeds Blackmore’s. His compositional skills and playing in the Dregs were amazing.
@gunnersdream442 ай бұрын
@@brianmccarthy8595 For someone "bored as hell" he sure stayed too bloody long and bored DP fans to hell. He may be more technically gifted than Blackmore, but all that technical corksniffery is secondary. When it comes to melody and tone, no one beats Blackmore, he's in his own league. Maybe Gilmour is somewhere in the same conversation, but that's about it. Also, for the iconic hard bloody rock DP played, Blackmore is king. Maybe Morse can play better country licks and chicken pickin' and fusion styles, but for a bloody hard rock riff, Ritchie is the guy. Even Zakk praised him and Zakk launched those hard rocking riffs into stratosphere.
@brianmccarthy85952 ай бұрын
@@gunnersdream44 There is no denying that Blackmore wrote memorable riffs but hands down Morse is a better musician. I've seen Blackmore numerous times and I've seen Morse with the Dregs ,The Steve Morse band and Kansas .Ritchie is a fine player but Morse is next level. Morse is a true musical genius. Blackmore is not.
