It REALLY is! But it just sings like a MF ... I changed the wires to the PURESOUND PRO CUSTOM BRASS 25-STRAND wires and that warmed and calmed the drums excitement 😅

@@pauld3201OMG really???? Oh wow, I was playing with TRUPHONIC that night! Thank you so much ... I really felt uncomfortable on that kit. It was not set up ergonomically ... It tired me out so much that I went and slept at the bar 😂😂😂😂😂 Wish we would've met up that night :)

Got mine just yesterday! I put in Evans ST Dry as the head ( 2 Ply Coated). I didn't like the sound of it until I adjusted the wires and put in some dampener (were the wires always that loose when fresh out of the box?)

I finally found the same edge snare for an affordable price recently, it really is the snare to end all snares haha..! Everything I love about the warm, rounded sensitivity of brass but with the mid range presence and body of wood. Possibly not quite as snappy or immediate to respond as an all metal shell, but hugely satisfying for everything else it brings..! Lovely playing too, btw 👌🏻😊
