We were having a new fence put in 2 years ago and I wanted to save 2 saplings that were going to be cut off. I gently removed them and replanted them in our backyard. One is a white oak fathered from a 160 year old oak next door to our home. The other is a Sugar Maple fathered from one in the woods behind our home. The Oak is thriving and has grown well since planting. The Sugar Maple did well last year but in the spring of this year a late killing frost came after it had budded out. The buds froze and it didn’t rebud. I’m praying that it’s just resting this year and will rebud this coming spring. Trees are my favorite plants. ❤❤❤

Thank you for your stories. I just found your channel and have watched and listened to all the tales of the Glenn. My daughter passed away this year and being in the Glenn has made the sorrow much easier to bare. ❤❤❤. Looking forward to more tales in the coming year
