I just wanted to curl up beside Mouse and gaze at the Christmas tree for a very long time. I am certain in the morning he would awaken me with toasted cheese and hot cocoa and present me with warm woolie slippers! I was enchanted! This recaptured my childhood longing to live with the animals of Narnia. Deeply appreciated during a sad Christmas as I am grieving the loss of my sister who would have loved this story.
