The karma is real in this drama. It's sad, but the FL gets her revenge, and the ML dies by the mistress's hands as he should. It appears the lead couple started out loving each other, and the ML proposes to the FL, but it's a dark, grim fairy tale. The 2nd ML wins the FL, but she loses so much due to the MLs stupidity and blind allegiance to the mistress. I can't feel sorry for the ML as he is the catalyst for all this misery by bringing in the mistress into the marriage and once the FL "dies" he moves the mistress into his bed and gets engaged. He allows her access to his/FLs child with tragic results. He does cheat/betray the FL, so I hope he ends up in hell for this. The ex MIL loses even bigger. No son or grandson to succeed her. She should have known better, too, but she went along with the mistress, so this is her retribution. At least the FL can move on with her life with the loving 2nd ML. Her son would bless them. He knew his mom loved him.
