I also hated the FL for the way she treated the young boy who turned out to be her biological child. She was mentally and physically abusive to him. Ready to throw him away from everything he had known for her selfish pride. I did not care for her at all.

She believed that child was living proof of her husband, who abandoned her and her child to a life of poverty and abuse. The brother in law should have taken him and let her grieve.
