Love how everyone else in the room is worried and arms up, but Sam looks as if she is just frustrated at having to make the compromise, and almost like she was considering it. Knowing it would be a badass move to take him up on his joke and see how he reacted. She truly did earn her command roles. She came a long way from the uneasy commands she occasionally took of SG-1 way back in her Captain days.

Never noticed Daniel's face as McKay is giving his rant about why they need him. Just grinning like a loon in the back of shot. God this cast were brilliant.

It's super stale and wooden. I can see why it wasn't picked up. There's no voice, there's no focus and these people aren't interesting... Was it supposed be like Melrose Place? Johnathan is interesting and Jaleel is relatable but there's no cohesive chemistry amongst the case as a whole. It would have bombed

I can see why it wasn't picked up. Save Brandis who 'felt' like a real person, the rest of the cast were actually good actors somehow acting badly. And the script already had clichés coming at you right and left. Nine minutes in you could set a clock to how the rest of a season would have went. For example, the husband sleeping with the babysitter angle was telegraphed so badly he might as well have told her 'Have fun with my kid! I'll be f--king you in a few weeks!!'

I have seen this episode many times, but this is my first time piecing this together. So when the black hole connection was going to destroy earth and they used the shape charge, does that mean that some other, possibly inhabited world got destroyed?

This is why Sheppard should've had more interaction with SG-1. McKay was already established with SG-1 and Weir was at one point running the SGC. These are the premier people of the SGC for the most part. Sheppard should have made another appearance or two at the SGC. I hope if they make another Stargate that he's part of it even in a guest capacity.
