2 things; 1) The trend of playing a film's main theme during the End Credits is so common that is has a sort of shorthand/nickname: "Main On End" or MOE for short. 2) Larry, Curly, and Moe are the famous 3 stooges. Composer Michael Giacchino tends to like to add jokes or references in the track titles of soundtracks. So basically he figured rather than the boring name "Main On End" or "MOE" why not make a reference at the same time: "Larry, Curly, and M(ain)O(n)E(nd)". It's a bit silly. Does that help?

@ Thanks for explaining MOE to me, makes sense. But I don’t think the Three Stooges reference really fits along with the rest of the track. His end credits for Lightyear for example had “Infinite MOEtion” as the title. Alongside a misspelling in one of the title tracks it just kinda takes away from the score for me just a touch (especially with this probably being my favorite end credits track from the trilogy). Still a great piece.

@RedCaio The problem that occurs with the midi is that, when I pass the file to musescore, the figuration and pitch do not appear correctly. For that reason I asked for the pdf directly of the score

@ I just play “free hand” without like a metronome or anything and the software captures the midi of what I’m playing. So that’s why it’ll look jumbled in a notation program. But if you drop the midi into synthesia it’ll give a tutorial version to help people learn it. If people don’t have synthesia they can just watch the synthesia tutorial video.
