So I did the same process as you did with the black paint and flocking unlimited fibers. I’ve also done a bunch of different colors on different species. However, when I hold my decoys to the light they sparkle like crazy. Is this the same for you? Or what do you think cause it.

I was using my 12 gauge this day with 3 inch 2 shot in a a federal shell. I had a carlson mud range choke in.

Good hunt nice variety! The calling is not that bad like one other person commented, ducks don’t sound like contest callers ! A lot of times just a few quacks is all it takes ! Especially if your not just dealing with mallards .

I agree 100%. The day this video was filmed the weird and raspy fast call was getting the attention. Mix that with the motion that was Happening in the spread and it was sucking them in. I actually use a whistle call more than my normal duck call. Just find what they want to hear for the day. Thanks for watching.

I agree. Been very careful this year with so many. It makes it hard with lighting at times, but if I can't tell, I don't shoot

In Utah we have almost no bluewing teal. 99.9% of the teal we shoot with blue on their wing are the cinnamon. Utah actually has the biggest cinnamon teal breeding population in the world. To get one fully plummed and red is a little more rare, but we shoot a ton of them

Nice hunt. We got covered up by pins on a hunt last year. Bird Id was tough because they were silhouetted but we managed to only take one a piece. Good call on pulling the spinners seemed to make a big difference in the way the birds worked. Look forward to a great season!

We always do our best to ID the bird in the air. I've been hunting ducks for almost 25 years and I will admit that I still can't get it correct 100% with lighting. With this 1 pin limit we make sure we are extra careful and let a lot of birds go if we can't ID right away

I use a pole from my spinner and stick it through the anchor bag as the anchor. I walk in so it’s nice to lose the few pounds from the anchor. Great review! I also use the quiver decoys from mojo

I've found a good practice to check gopro positioning from my phone with the gun raised to make sure I have birds in the shot when I actually shoot! A weird adjustment I know
