28 Gauge Swan Hunt. (TSS Loads)

On Today's hunt, my daughter is after her first Utah Swan. She is shooting her 28 gauge with TSS loads. We have to decoy the swans in close for her to get one with the 28.

Got my first swan in 1986 when I was 13 with a 20 gauge at salt creek and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Swan hunting is by far one of the funnest hunts. Everyone needs to experience it once!

@@Quackerstacker1973 My dad slow cooks them in a crock pot and then pulls them and adds BBQ sauce, it is great that way. He also will cut them into one inch cubes and marinate it in sesame teriyaki and pineapple juice for a day then put them on a skewer with pineapple and bell pepper and put it in the oven, also a very good way to cook it.

Sounds like the shot came from the other guy and he shot a trumperter….great job. No video and it didn’t happen.

Teaching your daughter to shoot a trumpeter and keeping others to fill their tags😢 it will lead to a closed season
