It can be hard at the start man but stay consistent and have that belief that it will come and it will! Gotta do the activity everyday regardless of that result. If you have candidates focus on speaking to x number of clients everyday without fail. Focus on building relationships rather than just selling. You can do this!

Step 1. Go to LinkedIn Step2. In search bar type in ("job title" OR "other job title variation" AND "birmingham"). If its a small company, target the MD or CEO and work downwards. Here's the sauce, theres 2 ways to find out the exact person. 1. Speak to 5 of your candidates and ask each of them who they reported to. That will give you the exact manager you need. I say 5 incase there are any variations of job title.. 2. Go to Chat GPT after speaking with 1 candidate and ask it to give you all variations for the job title your candidate mentions they report to

@AndrewOCallaghan983 2 ай бұрын
without doing a desk audit on your business its hard to say but questions I would ask is 1. What niche are you in and is it candidate or client market currently for your niche? 2. If its candidate (high demand for the type of candidate you are marketing) then how many emails are you sending out each day consistently? - are you tracking responses etc... what sort of feedback are you getting 3. Messaging - Are you sending a clear concise message that highlights the candidate in an enticing way to make them want to interview. 4. Are you targeting the right people that would want to hire that candidate? There are so many variables to consider before just increasing the volume

I still don't understand who's paying you for this. It would make sense if it was the company who just thanks to you got an employee when it was hard for them to find that employee by themselves but you make it sound like the client is the employee - the person who didn't really NEED you because they have such an advantage on the market.
@AndrewOCallaghan983
@AndrewOCallaghan983 3 ай бұрын
So in recruitment, the client always pays for the recruitment service - we find the employee for thm and then we invoie the client. There are two different markets based on the supply / demand of the job titles you are recruiting for. In what I recruit for example, the clients are easy to obtain because everyone is willing to hire the skillset. Their is a shortage in the market within Ireland currently. In my case the candidates are very hard to find but I know that as soon as I get one it's pretty much a gauranteed deal. For a client led market, clients are harder to attract because companies wont need a recruiter as much and there is usually plenty of candidates in the market . The idea is you pick a market somewhere in the middle ideally. Hope this helps clarify @luxurypetscz?
@James-ic1mp

Hey bro, thanks for the kind words, I am glad the videos are helping you! Firstly, congrats on making it this far, you are doing great so keep it up! To Answer your questions 1. Figure out what you wanna achieve monetary wise and just work it backwards. ie - if you wanna do 3 placements each month - figure out how many interviews you need to make that happen, emails you need to send to get an interview etc... (key metrics should always be emails sent out, Interviews in my opinion.. Get the interviews booked and you will make deals). 2. Email with a follow up call if they don't respond.

Once I’ve worked out how many emails = Interview requests, things will become a lot more easier in terms of how much volume is needed etc. In the meantime and I know there are a lot of factors and it’s market dependant, location etc but as a rough guide, to begin with from your experience, how many (MPC) emails should someone aim to send a day to begin with until the metrics become clear? And how long do you usually give it before following up with a call? Appreciate the help Andrew!

@skhanz36 You got this bro! It's hard to say because it depends on your niche but if you're sending out great candidates and not getting any interviews then double the output but also try to figure out why they don't want to interview. Is there no need at the moment or is the candidate actually good enough/ presented in the best possible way to attract an interview from the client... I only have to send 15 to 20 emails to get a few interviews but my niche is very candidate driven.. if you are in a client driven niche you might have to send 100+ I'll usually follow up with a call 24 hours later but if clients are never replying you can do it sooner and talk them through the candidates you sent

I think both could be good highly specialised niches. Great if you could get in and dominate the niche meaning knowing every candidate and client within the space. I would suggest trying to find a couple of really good candidates first and approaching a hiring manager with lets say a pharmacist. This will give you an idea firstly how hard they are to find and secondly if there is demand. A bonus tip, if they are really hard to find, that usually means there will be lots of people willing to use an agency to find them one!

@@woopsh123 That is a terrific fix to Andrew's problem here. Contact with a client should have this document sent to the client in advance of a meeting being set between the client and the candidate. You protect your agency's interest and reputation, your candidate from being possibly manipulated by the client, and also not wasting your candidate or client's time. Sending the document in advance of that meeting lets you know if your client is actually serious about paying you for your services and sets up a path to give you a way to legally resolve a non-payment issue. For the record, I am not a lawyer.

@@woopsh123 I had similar issue with few months ago. It was completely waste of time, resource and money. It would be really helpful. Would you be open to share with me the contract template for such situation? I am into nutrition sales recruitment, primarily US market.

@@user-yt3my7uq7u sure!!! Fancy sending me an email address to my dm’s? Or, if you can think of a better way - I’m open to ideas. 😄

Find the candidate another position and learn from this that unless you have a signed contract, the clients see no one. I would have pitched him just a general description and if they were interested at that point say how much the fees are and that there is an agreement to sign.

I 100 percent agree with you!... its the kinda thing where we know what we should be doing but I let the excitement of a potential deal get in the way. Onwards and upwards!
