As a woman, myself, I like when men has hobbies because it's help their mental health very much, however, they do need to take time to take care of themselves, like eating, sleeping, taking shower, even going to doctor appointment, and the bills, all in all, I like when men do some hobbies for them, without some idiocy of women, so yeah, haha, I wouldn't mind for a guy liking model trains, because model trains are very awesome to see, especially when you can the men being kids again.

I'm single and have been for years now, had numerous ladies in the past, now I've finally attained my goal of total peace and it's wonderful. I have my hobbies of Airsoft and yes trains... Lego trains so I'm fine. Let women stew alone or cope with being ignored by the men they need to fleece, why else are the divorce laws so bias towards women? We men have learned to not play the game anymore especially when it's rigged. Good luck ladies with dealing with real life of working 9 to 5 and bringing up kids and running a home plus it's maintenance costs, welcome to a man's world..... never hear single guys complain about it... strange that?

I would say model railways should be far higher up the list. Rod Stewart has done quite a bit to undo the damage, but of course he's a real man unlike the rest of us nerds. I would say the turn off for women is nearer 98%, though I have had girlfriends who were ok with it. The media has done much to damage the image. A well known modeller of my acquaintance was rung by a TV company interested in doing a progamme on the subject, and were shocked and lost interest when they found he had a professional job and was married with children. Wrong image, you see. The worst thing about it is that a onstructive , and in some cases skill-demanding hobby is ridiculed, but shopping, holidays, boozing and soap watching is totally acceptable.
