Is it a hospital full of changlings or something? Also, despite the people saying the hospital wouldn't make you wait like that... Have you actually been to a hospital lately? Particularly an American hospital? Yet alone, from what the story is implying, the only one for miles in a likely rural area of the country; of which the residents of all the neighboring towns have to line up for? If you've ever been to a hospital out in the middle of nowhere like that, they are indeed terrible.
