Many years ago i had reason to speak with Enya and have to say that her speaking voice is every bit as pleasant as her singing voice. This was the song that brought her beautiful voice to public notice but in my opinion she eclipsed Orinoco Flow with Caribbean Blue. Not that that any of her songs are bad but i'm sure we all have our favourites or like them all equally.. as i do.

It was an interesting time for Irish bands during the 80’s; I went from U2 to Clannad to Sinead O’Connor to Enya and love them all. Enya maybe the most. “Watermark” I adored. “Shepherd Moons” became an obsession. Then “The Memory of Trees” came out and I fell in love with her music again.
