Just loved your makes - also LOVE your hair. I'm trying to find an easy, unlined, simple shorter casual modern "blazer" "like" pattern that could be made in seersucker (if I could even find seersucker) or something lightweight for summer wear (my temperatures here right now are bouncing around 95 to 101 degrees with heat indexes of 114 degrees). I am 60 miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Mississippi in USA. Super muggy and hot here. Any ideas? Take care.

So many lovely things there Kristen. I have been trying to get my Ponte pants made for work as I have been wearing the first pair to death they are so comfortable. I'm expecting my latest parcel from you this morning and I'll see if I can take a look at that tonight while my daughter is at her dancing lesson - earmarking them for a blazer and the Closet core crew Sandstone jacket. On the actual table though are t shirts as I am in need of casual things to wear and COLOUR as my work uniform is black. I still have jeans to sew also and projects unfinished since before my hip replacement back in March.

Gorgeous makes Kristin. Will you ever get the pattern drafting rolls of paper back in store?.l think it’s a great product and l can’t find anything the same in New Zealand. Currently on another Nova Coat, and making my husband the I Am Re pattern Dufflecoat. Although it’s a woman’s pattern it has some lovely features and l can easily size it up.

I loved my box this month. I've been wanting one since you started putting them out, and when I saw this month's theme, I thought it might contain the perfect colour for me, and I wasn't wrong. I had been thinking I'd like a green knit, but was hoping for it from my Think Pink box (which I also get) since I didn't notice that you had ever put a knit, or a plain, in your boxes. So I was surprised that the exact fabric I had in mind was in your box. Now Andrea will probably have a fabric I would have expected more from your box in hers. Lol. I'm thrilled with my box. Now I just have to decide what to make from it. I'm thinking a Pattern Emporium Reconnect Longline Cardi in the Midi length, since that was originally why I wanted the green knit fabric. You really are a mind reader. Kind of like Kate is for you. Lol.

Just about to tackle this but the sizing is baffling me! I measure into a medium but looking at the finished measurements it would be huge on me - 8 inches at the bust, 15 inches at the waist, not too bad at the hip with only 6 inches. Certainly doesn't look that oversized on the examples. Might just size down to a small.

I'm retired and returning to sewing; I made all my own clothes till I was about 30, but quit due to career demands. The internet has completely changed sewing, and I'm eager to dip my toes in. I've bought the Montana pattern with extension for sleeves and bodices. I like how you described the boxy shape - after retirement the last thing I want is tight clothes. Thank you for your comments about Style Arc; I'll be checking back on your channel for other tips, as well. Cheers from Oklahoma!!!

The best wrap dresses I made were the Helena Wrap Dress (JP), Adeline Wrap Dress (FMN) and the Giselle Dress (Style Arc). I was disappointed with the Roseclair as one of the side ties undid itself whilst i was in the street😅, but at least I was still decent to a point. With regards to the necklines, if they are too low , I just raise them on the front bodice at a height I want the cross over to be at the centre front (using a tutorial I got from a blog) and redraw the front neck facings. If the neckline raw egdes are finished with bias binding like the roseclair, then that is a straightforward process. I wasn't aware of the Wildwood, Darjeeling and Romy wrap dresses, so I will check those put.
