This is the perfect video, Jess! These bracelets are so cool! The combination of leather and beads create such a nice look, and I love that they are adjustable! Your instruction is so clear and concise. I also love that you showed your mistakes. I’ve already made six of them, and will continue to make more, to sell at my show in a couple of weeks. They really show off gemstones 💎! Thank you! We are all so fortunate to learn from you, and I look forward to your next video tutorial! Hugzzzzz, Julie 💎♥️📿.

My pearl beads will not accept #2 silk thread with a beading needle. I want to knot the pearls. Any suggestions?

How do you find quality beads with big enough hole to accommodate two layers of thread?

Thank you! Every other youtube tutorial for a "sliding knot" results in people showing you how to do the cobra knot or using the ends of the bracelet to make a knot. This is the exact knot I was looking for.

New Subscriber & glad I found your channel! Thank you - you have put together a GREAT tutorial video - I'm not so scared to try it now especially awesome that you included your first attempts - Wow, you are not only patient but a very professional Teacher with SKILLS! I'm also encouraged to create my own Earring Wires from your video :)

I don’t like using super glue because I am super clumsy and always end up gluing my beads, or the cord to my fingers or gluing something not meant to be glued! I use the same trick about cutting the cord at an angle, but I get a small dot of Elmers clear school glue and twist it onto the end and let it dry. I can just rub off any glue on my fingers and it stabilizes my cord.

Get yourself a cheap amazon food dehydrator. That heats up the parts and makes sure they are VERY dry.

👋What questions do you have? I'm working on a blog post to go along with this tutorial so please et me know if there's anything I can clarify! Have fun 🤩 *For a multiwrap bracelet:* (Number of wraps x shortest wrist size)(x2) + 12” Examples: 3 way multiwrap for a 7” wrist = 3x7=21 21x2=42 42+12=54 5 way multiwrap for an 8” wrist= 5x8=40 40x2=80 80+12=92

Thank you, what a great video.... instructions very clear and easy to understand.......P.S. Perhaps double sided tape on the pencil might help ? Now subscribed 🎉

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Interesting thought about the tape - maybe I'll give that a try 🤔
@brain240sx5 ай бұрын
If you wear short bracelets like me just take a piece of strong tape and tape the end without the clasp to your wrist and use your other hand to open the clasp and catch it. It’s the same principle, just a different way of holding down the bracelet so it doesn’t move around on you

Great suggestion! I know some people are sensitive to adhesives so that might be something to consider...but hopefully such a quick exposure wouldn't cause any issues (bandaids make me CRAZY itchy, and they're made to go on the skin so I'm hesitant to try 😫) Thanks for checking out the video!

Hello, I would like to ask you something,... if you know of course, I don't want to embarrass you... They have brought me semi-precious stones from abroad in a regular round design, not big but each one symbolizes something... I would like to make a necklace, can you tell me what is best to put some thick string or silk thread or waxed cord? What better way to keep the stones and not break the necklace.. Thank you very much!
@JewelryTutorialHQ5 ай бұрын
Hi! So sorry for the late reply. I prefer waxed cord for this type of necklace, with knots between the beads (or some of them, at least - you can make any pattern you want with the knots). Depending on the hole size in the beads you can use .5mm or .8mm (I recommend using the largest size cord that will fit). You can check out my cord knotting playlist for tips + tutorials that might help: kzbin.info/aero/PL5PiAoCSms9ynO7E6QbMu9tax6zpGmiKr Have fun!

Not to be weird, but I would kiss you and take you to dinner for saving my SANITY. I've been in a losing battle with some beads, I've tried ALL my tricks...and nothing. The superglue hack worked like magic. Omg. I...got superglue ..everywhere, but! The cord slid in no problem, and I do not care I got glue on my favorite shirt. I've been all day fighting with the cord and these beads, but fam. You saved my sanity. Omg, you're literally brilliant. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! 😂❤❤❤❤

Not weird at all. I am so happy, I feel the same way 😅. I know of the spinning technique but when you are working with different colors to form patterns, that approach doesn’t work. So I very much appreciate this video for saving me from frustration as well.
