The Cirillic script was conceived and popularised amongst other slavic tribes by the followers of Cyril and Methodius in Bulgaria, rather than by Cyril and Methodius themselves. Its name denotes homage rather than authorship. The script is named in honor of Saint Cyril, but was 100% developed by the Bulgarian scholars of Preslav Literary School for writing the Bulgarian language.

The Welsh offering is particularly thorough and is a formidable 69 units long... it will not let you fail, what with its endless drills, and your diffidence will soon be cured, as with the Irish and Sc Gaelic offerings. I happen to think that Irish is easier but in any case it should be pointed out how pundits reckon Welsh to take roughly twice as long as French to learn. With Duolingo you can pursue multiple languages and still not pay any money over nor is there a time limit. You can also resume your efforts after a period of absence and the app will keep your place
