Careful with the pickle pipe lids. Once that pressure subsides they can actually go negative pressure and pull away from the band in later stages of fermentation. Learned that lesson the hard way. These are great for short term ferments though.

I used neem oil and dish soap on things I plan on eating. Neem oil makes a barrier so they can’t break through the leaves and when they munch on it they die. And protects from white flies

I don’t know what python is, but it sounds like a chemical. I’m sure that if you drank it, it would be deadly to you. It’d be some kind of a poison. I’m not saying that everything is perfect in the world of gardening that I live in, but I have found that peroxide And most people that speak of peroxide speak of peroxide being diluted store-bought peroxide is 3% so they say diluted 5050 bring it down to one and a half percent but if you know anything peroxide is H202 it just has one more oxygen molecule to make it peroxide, so if you spray it put it in a sprayer if you don’t have a dark sprayer, it will the sunlight will distort it pretty quick so what you wanna do is you wanna spray it on early in the morning before the sun comes up or before nightfall and nightfall is very good because then it has a whole night to stay on there not only will it kill the little white flies aids and every bug that’s on your plant. It will also destroy fungus that’s the leaves of like a butternut squash or a squash that gets like they’ll get the white powdery fungus on the leaves it’ll it’ll take care of that too, after spraying your plants that you could eat them right away just rinse them off of water. It’s not poison nontoxic you wanna get a little more extreme you could buy Nemo Nemo is an evergreen plant that’s found in India now the Indians in India use it and actually ingest it for certain things Sites and things like that, but not I’m not telling you to do that cause I would never do that but you could mix the neem oil with water. I actually have one of those sprayers that you hook up to your garden hose. It’s an applicator that would be used for Spraying neem oil you know and you water and the concentrated Nemo come out of it now just so you know, if you leave neem oil over the winter, it’ll sort of gel up or solidify in there so what you would do is you need to pour boiling hot water in the container a little bit and you shake it up and you kinda like loosen up and then you could Finish it off with the neem oil you know and then use the sprayer like that and you could also eat your food right after the oil cause it’s toxic neem oil. Also if you spray your grounds and stuff doesn’t kill worms, but it will get rid of fleas and ticks Natural. I bought cedar oil but that’s $200 a gallon for pure cedar oil and cedar oil I use to spray around the flowers and stuff like that in the grass it it keeps away the fleas, but I look into more natural things. I stay away from diet Tacious earth to diet tenacious earth rinses off with water and diet tenacious earth it is did you get the one that’s a food grade? I use that too. I actually put that in the bird houses in the squirrel houses that I have keep the fleas away from them go natural protect your family and your all the water that penetrate your ground is always you could dig a hole and basically drink that water because you know it’s not poison don’t ever use pesticides or weed killer on your lawn, that’s the reason dogs only live 15 dogs only live eight or nine years because of the weed killer people put on lawn think about it if it’s on your dog and they’re dying early somehow it’s gonna get on your kids. God bless you and live and prosper

Mix Oil,dishsoap and garlic and water and spray it on there. Works a charm. Crush the garlic,make it as puree as possible and add oil to it so it infuses in the oil,mix that with a few drups of dishsoap to keep the bugs off. You can let it sit indefinitely in a jar because it wont go bad. Put it in a spraybottle and spray a few times a week.

@@Dnite13 I'd call some places before I went but would totally go get some pyrethrin from a local place. That way you can have it today. Don't want to wait too long on aphids they spread to all your plants but they suck the life out of them as well in the middle of summer heat. You don't want that at all
@PepperGuru
@PepperGuru Ай бұрын
Add some sulfur to your pyrethrin in suspension before spraying, enough to make the water leave white/cream colored dust everywhere on the foliage. That combo does wonders for many issues. Don’t worry about killing beneficials with it either.

Not yet my over just go to ferments. I do have a 3 gallon vat that I can ferment in. So far I need to get a 5 gallon. Actually a couple 5 gallons. To be honest, we're going to have a ton of stuff next year, but I guess if anything I'll be selling sauces. Maybe in a year or so. I have 4 gallons of hot sauce all fermented that I have no use for cuz it's way too much to eat. The most flavorful and richest tasting pepper that has a good amount of heat so far is the black habanero. I'm going to make a pure black habaneros sauce in the fall

@bennielamb8911 3 ай бұрын
I did that but the video was too long so I didn't include. But in my grow tent I have a power meter and it's around 500 par. In the window it's a thousand, but if you go outside all the way on a sunny day the sun pars around 2,000

@@bennielamb8911thanks bro! I didn't expect the window light to be twice as strong as the grow lights. I actually didn't know which would be stronger! I still have a couple of seedings under grow lights and I'm gonna move them to the windowsill now. Lower my energy bill as well :-)
@bennielamb8911
@bennielamb8911 3 ай бұрын
Well, not necessarily most windows only are lit by the sun at a good angle for 4 hours a day and not the normal 14 like a grow tents. So it's really about DLI more than pure power at one given point plus my grow tint lights are turned down to 500. They could peek at about a thousand if I let them but heat builds and the plants don't need that much power right now
