this video in 10 minutes introduced me to a new song, made me watch the mv for it, obsess over said song, then rewatch this video keeping the song in mind more. love it <3 (the song is now going to be stuck in my head for 3 days)

Healing!! Oh to fangirl over phan for so many years only to realise I'm freaking bi years later and have Troye as my queer soundtrack. Lovely and vibrant seeing this celebration to out, proud and silly dnp soundtracked by Troye Sivan 💗💗💗

instant classic, no notes. but honestly this was so fun! I’m really happy for them, they seem more comfortable and just joyful
@liv27.Күн бұрын
I’m the same, I mainly just watch videos since the resurrection of the gaming channel because they seem so much happier and any older ones just remind me of how terribly they were treated (and still are by some people)

@@liv27.Yeah! They have a very fun and openhearted vibe these days, which is delightful. I’ve grown up watching them since I was 9, and I’m 19 now - which is crazy. I still remember my mixed feelings through the worst of it. It was an incredible relief to have queer role models at that age, when I was very repressed and alienated from myself. They had a kind of love that was recognisable to me, and made me feel like I wasn’t going to be on the outskirts forever, suffocated by the mold of relationships I was supposed to want. They had more going on than we knew about, but to baby me they were evidence that people like me could live a happy life. That being the way I was, it was still possible to be understood, safe, not alone. (Get a bestfriend who is your soulmate & you live with forever). People get curious, but I hope we can empathise and understand that being suffocated by others’ expectations sucks. I really like D&P’s approach. Just look at them! Living well and authentically. Making each other laugh. Building a house together. Fuck yeah. No one needs a ‘hard-launch’ or a wedding for the important part to keep being real, true and beautiful.
