The best part about this is that they doesn't even need to include the King getting killed, and a King killing other Kings because a chess game should've ended with a checkmate, and intentionally getting your King killed is an illegal move, but they decided to include the death scenes. The reason is either as a fanservice, or they're just bunch of bloodthirsty people. I'm thinking the latter with how the characters are brutally murdered lol.
