This is a super old iron that thrifted for crafting. I just turned the heat on the highest temp and covered the shoe with a damp cloth.

Great video, what is the tool and step you are doing right before you pulled up the film? Does it help to keep the design from pulling up when peeling the backing?

Its plastic scraper of sorts… It just makes me feel more comfortable to go over the design again especially on the corners or with small lettering. I want to make sure that everything adhered properly.

I'll attempt this weekend. My son is 4.5y but we decided to get 5T drawsting pants for school thinking he doesnt know how to do that for himself!!😢 hoping to solve with this hack

If that doesn't work. You can buy the little spring loaded button things that are on some sweats already. We did that for my son. He's tall but skinny. So he'll need bigger sizes for length but the waist is always too big. Thankfully he lives in sweatpants so they work awesome.
