These plastic scales are sensitive to static electricity, especially if you use a plastic powder pan with them. There are fixes for that. The manufacturers don’t want to mention it because it would make their scale appear inferior. But the truth is, all the cheap plastic reloading scales have this sensitivity. Easy to fix if you know how.

exiterary here, combat MOs 19 Delta. Calvary scout. never put 30 rounds in a 30 round magazine. You want that spring to last and compressing it all the way is not a smart thing to do. We usually put 27-28 rounds In a 30 round magazine. although I carried eight magazines I also had eight empty ones back at base. so at the end of the day I would transfer them over to the new set. give the spring some time to rest.

Are there any small base 8.6blk dies to help the reloaded ammo function in AR builds?
@EagleReloads
@EagleReloads 26 күн бұрын
I am not sure what you mean. small primer? I have made 1000's of rounds and shot 1000's of factory loads from the mfgs, they all pretty much function well. This caliber was intented and designed for semi auto and full auto. so feeding was a priority in the design.
@jack3927417
@jack3927417 26 күн бұрын
@@EagleReloads a small base die undersizes the cartridge’s diameter a few thousandths of an inch to aid in feeding/ejection reliability. The round uses a 6.5 Creedmoor case which definitely wasn’t designed for cycling reliability in semi-auto rifles.

The .338 spectre needs more attention. It's ar-15 sized ,cycles subsonics and 300 grainers feed from the magazine . It's also a lot less expensive to get . Uppers are like $550 .factory ammo is sub$40 . Loading stuff is available . It uses standard 9mm pistol cans or .338 + diameter rifle cans .

I think that if the bolt and barrel head space was off and the bullet was seated in the lands then even a load like this can have a pressure spike. If the bolt and barrel were just slightly out of headspace then this can happen because it will act like a grenade due to the quick spike in pressure and the bullet not being able to have space to start moving. As well as all the added space inside the cartridge there is room for pressure to spike as well and this means lots of back pressure as well as outward pressure. Who knows for sure but just need to make sure all loads are made for your rifle and don’t fire anything other than factory if you don’t reload.
