Sucks u lost gps signal, but that dose tend to happen with this drone from time to time, Iv had mine for half a year now and fly it all the time, but if u fly it away from other wifi spots, aka your neighborhood, it’s much much more reliable. I have yet to lose mine, crash it, or have it “fly away” even tho I have lost gps on multiple occasions during flight, and few times where it never recovered, but I was always able to Fly it back to me myself.. I noticed that u still had control over the drone as it lost gps and started drifting as you where still able to pan the camera and turn it, this is where u should have flown back to yourself. Always keep a clear line of site of your drone and know it’s position and heading in relation to u. I love my Karma, I agree it has some issues, but as long as u know how to properly fly a drone it’s not an issue as I have yet to crash or loose mine, and I have flown it in a blizzard before lol

That looked like a classic GPS loss incident. You were not under a tree, beside a tall building or mountain or under a bridge. The drone had the entire sky to get the GPS signal. Something in the Karma hit error mode and it just shut down the GPS. The Karma would then just float with the wind as if it were a puck on an air hockey table. There is a serious design flaw if the controller does not still allow you to have control over the drone even with GPS loss, so something software/hardware related needs to be redesigned. Probably best for everyone to fly their Karma's in open fields away from houses until GoPro comes up with a fix.

That is why I don't buy GoPro karma, cause the gps sometimes could mess up. I have few crash like that on phantom 2.

This is why DJI Mavic uses 'GPS + Glonass + Visual position' instead of only GPS. GPS signal is not so reliable and stable. Sometimes, it just disappear or gives wrong information. But unfortunately, GoPro Karma is only based on GPS. GoPro is a newbie in drone business. They need to learn more.
