What is your hack for using the bathroom or bathing in your van?
@OrdinaryTwo Жыл бұрын
This is our van shower video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gITPi4aOe9-nrbs though now we use an electric pump sprayer: amz.run/6EEL and a folding bucket instead of the solar shower.

How far did you have to keep the futon away from the wall in order for it to fold down? Great video
@OrdinaryTwo2 жыл бұрын
We would slide it out about 12" when we wanted to put it in bed mode. Then could slide it back to the wall for couch mode. Thanks!

Non-stop doing what you’re doing your background music wasn’t that loud they’re just nagging because they have nothing better to nag and complain about and tell you the truth I played it again just so I could hear your wife sing beautiful you’re beautiful people I wish you the best

The back ground music is beyond annoying. Trying to hear you explain but it is drowning your voice. Stop watching halfway.

Hi! How do you keep the bed from moving? Is it drilled into anything, i am trying to do something like that
@OrdinaryTwo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! We attached two corner brackets to the floor around the two front legs that keep the couch from sliding. But you can lift the legs over the brackets to slide it out to unfold it to bed mode. We also used brackets to keep our batteries from sliding around. They look like this: encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcQeH-tEQyWTleYhH4vTRZe12S6Onkv2Mn0sl_rz7znwdHTfBgOcaoQA0po4VFANHaveh0dv_VeelMw&usqp=CAc

what is the link for the closet? did you bolt your futon down to the floor or your kitchen to the floor?
@OrdinaryTwo3 жыл бұрын
Here is a link to the closet www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vuku-wardrobe-white-80331973/ We cut the supports down so it wedges under the bed. Our kitchen is bolted to the floor with L brackets. Futon is not bolted down, but there are some brackets to keep it from sliding.

Not an issue in climates where swamp coolers work well(which is really, only in the west in the US). The extra humidity feels great!

Where do you stash your bedding during the day? I can never seem to find a good place for it and wish I could just leave it on in couch mode, but then it just falls and bunch and is generally in the way
@OrdinaryTwo4 жыл бұрын
When we were using the couch/bed every day we would make the bed in the morning, cover the whole thing with a contour sheet, and then fold it in to a couch. The contour sheet over the bedding kept it in place pretty well while in couch mode..
