Guys whenever you use the rubber guard, stay tight and think about moving inch by inch closer to the win you want.

Had the pleasure to train under him when I started doing bjj. The man is one of the best. Fred Moncaio is also a solid BJJ guy.

I learned this move from a black belt in Florida… I have been hitting this move all the time through my jiu jitsu years and it’s solid. Most people don’t see it coming, just make sure you work on your leg/thigh squeeze, some people with strong necks resist it pretty good, so make sure you have a plan B if you get tired squeezing without results. Other than that…Solid Move. Sneaky setup. Love it.

Simply unbelievable. At these times I can understand the disparity between "normal" people who train regularly and athletes at the top of the sport. This athlete, in particular, is one of the most athletic in UFC history (if not THE most). Phenomenal physical demonstration. I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't recorded on video.

I’m just starting to learn rubber guard but I always forget to move my hand to the the other side of their neck when going to invisible collar. I have a hard time setting up submissions because I don’t go to a 10p school I just learn from KZbin. But just feeling the control I have when I have their posture broken and get to zombie is awesome cuz nobody else at my gym plays rubber guard.

Great explanation and mostly what I was looking for, however you didn't actually ever apply the Kimura submission. Just a Kimura grip. I would have liked to see the submission. Still a thumb up.

@@TallahasseeJiuJitsu I figured you were somewhere near. I haven't had the pleasure of training with "Clean" but I train under a Purple belt under "Clean". Although I have been on the sidelines of one of his training sessions. His training is definitely not for softies. Almost 4 hours non-stop. No joking around and no games. Good to meet you Brother. Chop 😎🤙
