I have not had a good time with Rebelle. What kind of company allows you to try their program for free, but can't open a save from their own program without needing to buy the product? I worked on a project for 6h testing things out only for it to crash and was not able to load a previous saved copy because thats a feature only for a paid version, what in the world kind of trial is that.

I hear you! I didn't like it either. (even mention it in my reviews about the program as well) The only reason I bought it was because it was a real good sale when 7 came out. So my recommendation is to wait until a good sale to really buy it, if you really enjoyed drawing in it.

People don't like to draw on glass because it feels gross if you started on paper. Some of them at screen protectors feel way better for drawing it's like drawing on edged glass if you have a Wacom or something. I like the magnetic screen protectors because you can easily take them off to watch videos but I usually never take mine off anyways because they don't really dull the screen. Very noticeably. Also the cheap screen protectors are usually better value because they all last the same and they pretty much are all the same feeling and you can get way more of them in a package for like half the price.

I have looked into those magnetic ones before getting this, but they were hit or miss. Sure they probably gotten better now than when I looked into them (years ago) 😊 Might be my next.

Cute lil ones! I've thought of getting a set of these as well since true watercolor is my absolute worst enemy. I prefer sharpie, markers, and poscas, but watercolor just looks so nice to do Do these pencils come with the water (?) brushes or are they separate? If separate, what are they called? I have a birthday coming up so I want to add these to my wishlist! Looking forward to more traditional art 😊

The set that I use in this is Faber-castell Albrecht Dürer, and brushes and water is separate. The ones I use is from Motolow. But I did buy a bigger set from Castle Art Supplies, with a little bag. In that you get these refill water brushes. (Have a video for that too, but not until August.)

Some of the book published by Tuttle regarding art isn't really that good or not suitable to beginners. I find that Glenn Vilppu method and Proko works well for beginners. And after learning from those master video that it's easier to grasp other artist methods.

I haven't tried it in 2.0, photo was terrible at removing backgrounds, manually or by selecting white, there were always pixels remaining. I like affinity designer (it needs gradient mesh) but otherwise it's better than the last version of illustrator I used. for painting I'd rather use clip studio paint or paint tool sai (please pay them, it's $50 USD and it sounds like a lot of people don't.)

I also bought the full suite , still need to get new brushes but I think you can import photoshop brushes aswell so that’s alright.

Yes you can, but because the two have different engines, many photoshop brushes might not work the way you want them to. But play around in the settings and you might find it.

It works pretty well. Get warm ears after a while. And can get little pain where the glasses are at. But takes few hours or so, depending on what you are up to.

To be honest, not bad at all. The only problem I have is if I'm walking around (making a annoying sound). But my glasses are also made out of plastic, so blame them more than the headphones.
